RaiderComm Affinity

I’ll tell you the truth, when I thought about signing up for RaiderComm, I could feel my anxiety stirring as I thought about gaining real-world experience and the responsibilities that came with that.

From proper time management and scheduling to graphic design work and social media content creation, I knew I would be in for one heck of a semester. Naturally, I sat there staring at the computer trying to decide whether or not I should register for the course.

It seems tough, I thought. It sounds like an awful lot of work. But, like an epiphany I realized, this is an outstanding opportunity—one that offers practical experience with fully-fledged clients all of whom want legitimate, professional work completed. And say, just for example, I do well. Say I grow accustomed to my team and the workload we share. Say I place the work that my team and I contribute to a recognized organization on my résumé.

Well, then the real question arises: Who can pass up on that?

So, after my anxiety buckled and my stress abated, I recognized that from day one of meeting the teams and the instructor of the course, Dr. Davis, I immediately wished I would’ve taken the class earlier in my career. Meeting everyone and experiencing the cohesiveness of each group, the kindness of each person, and all the outstanding work ethics that surrounded me was nothing less than breathtaking. It made me wish we could meet every day of the week instead of only once!

You see, there’s just nothing quite like kindling relationships within a real working environment. It might be difficult to understand since we’re so accustomed to a class-oriented atmosphere. But I’m here to tell you that RaiderComm has the best of both worlds. So much so that it’s beyond any shadow of a doubt that I’ll always remember my experience in the course. And for that, I’ll forever be grateful.
