RaiderComm Public Relations 

Students and faculty came together to create an opportunity for students to get more experience out of their time at Texas Tech University. 

 

In 2010, RaiderComm Public Relations was born. RaiderComm Public Relations is the fully functioning, student-run public relations firm in Texas Tech University’s College of Media & Communication. We offer hands-on experience. With real clients, we give students the chance to take what they learn in the classroom to the table of a conference room. 

We look to help local nonprofits, small businesses and organizations find a voice for their passion. In a digital age, we realize how globalized market competition has become. With the creation of social media, everyone has the potential to be heard by millions. By incorporating traditional and nontraditional public relations strategies, we want to create a strong brand and community around our clients.

 

We help our clients develop a voice that reaches from Lubbock into the globalized-digital world.

We are now a full-service student-run agency working in a classroom setting and earning credit for our work. We have rebranded to RaiderComm and focus on gaining a variety of CoMC students to diversify our agency skills. Our members work closely with multiple clients at a time on a variety of account teams. We have made the special topics agency course a permanent class and are working toward generating client work for profit.
