Dr. Debbie Davis

Dr. Debbie Davis ABC, APR, Fellow PRSA, is an award-winning educator, communications practitioner, and former TV news producer. To the classroom, she brings extensive experience in corporate communications for multiple Fortune 500 companies, including Eli Lilly and Anthem. She joined Texas Tech University eight years ago as an assistant professor of practice and she primarily teaches in the online graduate program and advises the student-run agency, RaiderComm PR. Her research interests focus on student-run agencies and PR pedagogy.

Corinne Milburn,
AGENCY DIRECTOR

Hi! My name is Corinne Milburn, and I am from Prosper, Texas. I am a senior majoring in public relations & strategic communication management, and this is my third semester in RaiderComm. I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve as agency director this semester and to oversee the University Recreation team as account director. In addition to completing my final semester as an undergraduate, I am pursuing my master’s degree in strategic communication and innovation here at Texas Tech. After graduation, I will return to Globe Life, where I worked on the sports marketing team last summer. I am excited for this semester and grateful for the opportunity to help lead this agency! 

Krystal Meazell,

My name is Krystal Meazell, and I am from Abilene, Texas. I am a first-year graduate student in the College of Media & Communication’s Graduate Program, pursuing a master’s degree in mass communications. I am excited to serve as an account director for the PRSC and Internal account teams. After graduation, I hope to work in higher education and continue gaining experience in public relations.

Emily Chambers,
ACCOUNT DIRECTOR (TA)

Hey y’all! I’m Emily Chambers, and I’m from Lubbock, Texas. I graduated with my B.A. in digital media & professional communication with minors in media strategies, public relations, and political science from the College of Media & Communication at Texas Tech University in May 2022. I am currently pursuing dual master’s degrees in mass communications and an MBA from the Texas Tech Graduate School. I am the account director for the Moonlight Musicals and Lubbock-Con teams and serve as a teaching assistant for the agency. Some of my strengths are interpersonal communication, active listening and mentorship. A fun fact about me is that I have been involved at a local kickboxing gym for over a year!

Hi! My name is Abi Paulsen, and I’m from Marion, Iowa. I’m a senior digital media & professional communication major with a public relations & strategic communication management minor.  I am the account manager for the RaiderComm Internal and PRSC teams. This is my second semester in RaiderComm , and I am very excited to grow my leadership skills and work with these amazing clients this semester. After graduation, I will be attending graduate school at Texas Tech and working as a teaching assistant. A fun fact about me is that I am a marketing assistant at Texas Roadhouse.

Hi! My name is Haley Morrill, and I’m from Rockwall, Texas. I’m a junior pursuing a double major in communication studies and public relations & strategic communication management. I am thrilled to serve as the assistant agency director as well as the account manager for the Moonlight Musicals and Lubbock-Con accounts. This is my third semester in RaiderComm, and I’m excited to continue learning new skills that will be applied to real-life situations. After graduation, I would love to work in the PR department for a top literary publishing house.

Hi! My name is Kayla Stone, and I’m from China, Texas. I’m a third-year journalism major with a minor in public relations & strategic communication management. I am the account manager for the Lubbock Creative Fund and Texas Tech University System Public Art Collection teams. This is my second semester in RaiderComm, and I am excited to work alongside my talented peers to serve the Lubbock community. I also conduct research with the Honors College as part of the Undergraduate Research Scholars and am a First Year Experience mentor.

Kalyn Warren,

Hi! My name is Kalyn Warren, and I’m from Wink, Texas. I’m a senior, and my major is digital media & professional communication. I am the account manager for the University Recreation team. Something I am excited about this semester is experiencing new things and getting out of my comfort zone. This is my third semester in RaiderComm, and I plan to stay in Lubbock to get my master’s degree after graduation. A fun fact about me is that I run a banner business that I do to keep myself busy. My skills include content creation, photography and graphic design.

Sofia Bueno

Hi! My name is Sofia Bueno, and I’m from Tyler, Texas. I’m a double major in communication studies and public relations & strategic communication management, and I serve as an account coordinator for the Moonlight Musicals and Lubbock-Con teams. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I’m excited to gain hands-on experience and further develop my skills in the field of public relations. 

Allie Castillo

Hi! My name is Allie Castillo, and I’m from Austin, Texas. I’m a junior advertising major, and I’m excited to gain real-world experience as an account coordinator for the RaiderComm Internal and PRSC teams. This is my first semester with the agency, and I plan to get my master's in mass communications after graduation. My skills are in communication and advertising. A fun fact about me is that I once played a solo at Carnegie Hall.  

Caroline Cook

Hi! My name is Caroline Cook, and I’m from Saginaw, Texas! I’m a sophomore majoring in digital media & professional communication with a certificate in sports media. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I am an account coordinator for the University Recreation team. I'm excited to grow as a professional this semester and gain real-world experience in the sports media industry. After I graduate, I hope to receive a master’s degree and then work for the marketing side of the NFL! Outside of RaiderComm, I am the social media coordinator for TTU Study Abroad. A fun fact about me is that in 2023, I danced in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!  

Maya Crim

Hi! My name is Maya Crim, and I’m from Grapevine, Texas. I’m a third-year digital media & professional communications major, with a double minor in public relations & strategic communication management and communication studies. I am an account coordinator on the Lubbock Creative Fund and Texas Tech University System Public Art Collection teams. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I’m so excited to gain real-world experience practicing public relations. After graduation, I plan to work in public relations for nonprofits. This semester, I hope to use my skills in photography, interpersonal communication and strategic communication to uplift local organizations. I also serve as the communications intern at Lubbock Impact.  

Michael Demma

Hi! My name is Michael Demma, and I am from Flower Mound, Texas. I am a junior at Texas Tech, getting my degree in public relations & strategic communication management with a minor in psychology. I am an account coordinator for the University Recreation team. I can’t wait to share what University Recreation has to offer, and I hope to invite many newcomers to try intramurals and other sports programs. This is my second semester in RaiderComm , and after graduation, I hope to run social media accounts for fashion streetwear brands. I really enjoy videography and making creative, funny reels for intramural games. I look forward to growing my creative strengths to make fun and engaging content throughout this semester. 

Morgan Elliott

Hi! My name is Morgan Elliott, and I’m from San Antonio, Texas. I am a third-year public relations & strategic communication major with a minor in legal studies. I am an account coordinator for the Lubbock Creative Fund and the Texas Tech University System Public Art Collection teams. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I am excited to continue developing my strategic communication skills. My strengths include collaboration and adaptability. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy exploring new hiking spots around Lubbock.  

Isabella Flores-Aguirre

Hi! My name is Isabella Flores-Aguirre, and I’m from El Paso, Texas. I’m a senior majoring in advertising and minoring in English. I am an account coordinator for the Lubbock-Con and Moonlight Musicalsteams. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I am excited to gain hands-on experience working with clients. After I graduate in May, I plan on getting my master's degree in marketing and working at an advertising or PR agency.  

Gianelli Garcia

Hi! My name is Gianelli Garcia, and I’m from Houston, Texas. I’m a senior journalism major and minoring in public relations & strategic communication management. I serve as an account coordinator for the RaiderComm Internal and PRSC teams. This is my first semester in Raidercomm, and I am grateful for the opportunity to gain agency experience. After graduation, I plan to become a Hispanic journalist.

Jenyfer Lopez Argumedo

Hi! My name is  Jenyfer Lopez Argumedo, and I’m from Andrews, Texas. I’m a junior majoring in public relations & strategic communication management with a minor in advertising. I am an account coordinator for the Lubbock-Con and Moonlight Musicals teams. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I am excited to further my skills in content development. A fun fact about me is that I'm a barista who  doesn’t  like  coffee, but I love matcha and can make it at home! 

Molly McConnell

Hi! My name is Molly McConnell, and I’m from Copperas Cove, Texas. I’m a senior majoring in public relations & strategic communication management. I am an account coordinator for the University Recreation team. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I’m excited to showcase intramural sports, employee dedication, and the other opportunities and experiences that University Recreation offers. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in corporate public relations. I’m a strong communicator, coordinator, creator and photographer. A fun fact about me is that I’m a twin!

Monica Quiroz

Hi! My name is Monica Quiroz, and I’m from Big Spring, Texas. I’m a senior majoring in advertising. I am an account coordinator for the RaiderComm Internal and PRSC teams. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I’m excited to gain agency experience and learn real-world skills that I can use in the industry. After graduating, I would like to work in influencer marketing. A fun fact about me is that I help run the TTU Advertising Instagram account! 

McKenna Smith

Hi! My name is McKenna Smith, and I'm from Frisco, Texas. I'm a senior majoring in public relations & strategic communication management. I am an account executive for the University Recreation team. I am excited to continue developing my skills and deepening my knowledge while becoming a stronger employee for the agency. This is my second semester in RaiderComm. After graduation, I plan to either work for a public relations agency in Dallas or pursue a master's degree in marketing at Texas A&M University. 

Anna White

Hi! My name is Anna White, and I’m from Abilene, Texas. I’m a senior public relations & strategic communication major. I am an account coordinator for the Lubbock Creative Fund and Texas Tech University System Public Art Collection teams. This is my second semester in RaiderComm.
