Dr. Debbie Davis

Dr. Debbie Davis ABC, APR, Fellow PRSA, is an award-winning educator, communications practitioner and former TV news producer. To the classroom, she brings extensive experience in corporate communications for multiple Fortune 500 companies, including Eli Lilly and Anthem. She recently joined Texas Tech University as an assistant professor of practice where she primarily teaches in the online graduate program and advises the student-run agency, RaiderComm PR. Her research interests focus on student-run agencies and PR pedagogy.

Fiona Kelly,
AGENCY DIRECTOR

Hi! My name is Fiona Kelly, and I’m from Frisco, Texas. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Strategic Communication Management, and I am now pursuing my master’s degree in mass communications. I have the pleasure of serving as RaiderComm’s agency director this semester! I’m passionate about working with people and building connections, so I’m thrilled to spend another semester with this wonderful organization. I’m excited to watch myself grow as a leader and student! With a love for reading and writing, I also shamelessly indulge in reality TV in my spare time!

Hello! My name is Brandy Perry, and I’m from Waco, Texas. I’m a junior majoring in communication studies. I’m the assistant director for the agency as well as an account coordinator for the CreateAthon and RaiderComm internal account teams. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I’m excited for the chance to work with such a talented group of individuals. I enjoy working with people as much as I enjoy reading and writing and strive to work in the publishing industry after graduation

Victoria Bacon,
ACCOUNT DIRECTOR (TA)

Hi! I'm Victoria Bacon, and I'm from Centreville, Maryland. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Strategic Communication Management with minors in advertising and media strategies in May 2023. I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in mass communications. I'm the account director for CreateAthon and Habitat for Humanity and serve as a teaching assistant for the agency and the undergraduate “Foundations of Media and Communications” course. I was in RaiderComm as an undergraduate for two semesters and have now been a TA for the class for two semesters as well. I'm so happy I can continue my journey within the agency.

Morgan Still,

Hi everyone! I'm Morgan Still, and I'm from Denver City, Texas. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Strategic Communication Management and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications with a minor in creative media industries from Texas Tech in December 2022. I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in mass communications with a certificate in advanced digital and social media. I'm the account director for Keep Lubbock Beautiful and UREC and serve as a teaching assistant for the agency. I also work as an independent consultant in social media, print and digital marketing, copywriting, branding and design.

Hi! My name is Cynthia Berlanga, and I’m from Lubbock, Texas. I’m a freshman majoring in public relations and strategic communication management. I am the account manager for Tech Terrace and an account coordinator for CoMC. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I am thrilled to work alongside my team members to fulfill our clients’ goals. In addition to my love for pugs, I am also passionate about traveling and meeting new people. So far, my favorite destination has been the Taj Mahal in India.

Hello! My name is Uriel S. Escobar, and I am from Dallas, Texas. I am a junior majoring in public relations and strategic communication management with a minor in journalism. This is my second semester in RaiderComm, and I am excited to work as an account manager for CreateAthon and an account coordinator for the UREC team. I am eager to learn from my peers and industry professionals and participate in agency projects and events while expanding my knowledge and skills in this field. Eventually, I plan to become a communication director for a health organization where I can apply the skills I’ve acquired here.

Hi! My name is Chloe Feller, and I am from Houston, Texas. I am a senior double majoring in public relations and communication studies. This semester I am the account manager for Habitat for Humanity and an account coordinator for Keep Lubbock Beautiful. I can not wait to work with both these clients this semester. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I am so excited to work with everyone in the agency. A fun fact about me is that I danced for 13 years before I came to college.

Hi! My name is Travis Furlow, and I’m from Seminole, Texas. I’m a senior digital media and professional communication major. I am the account manager for UREC and an account coordinator for CreateAthon. I am excited about leading the UREC team and returning to the CreateAthon account team this semester. After graduation, I plan on attending grad school at the CoMC to pursue a master’s degree in mass communication. A fun fact about me is that I am a fifth-generation West Texan, and I am Filipino. Some of my strengths are graphic design, event coordination, copy editing and interpersonal communication.

After college, I plan on attending law school and going into media law or business law. A fun fact about me is that I like to puzzle!

Hi! I'm Isabella Monroe from Houston, Texas, and I'm currently a junior majoring in advertising

I am the account manager for Keep Lubbock Beautiful and an account coordinator for RaiderComm. This marks my second semester in RaiderComm, and I'm excited to apply the strategies I learned last semester to these new accounts. Having studied abroad last summer, I plan to work overseas after graduation.

Hi! My name is Sam Zell, and I’m from Keller, Texas. I’m a junior pursuing a major in creative media industries with a public relations minor. I am the account manager for Buffalo Grass Fest and an account coordinator for Tech Terrace. This is my first semester in Raider Comm, so I’m very excited to work closely with my peers and meet the needs of our clients. A little bit about me is that I love music and funny pictures of bears. I am the account executive for UREC and an account coordinator for CoMC. This is my second semester in RaiderComm, and I have enjoyed every second. After graduation, I hope to take a gap year and travel abroad. A fun fact about myself is that I love cats so much that I have 13 of them! Lauren Christian

Hi! My name is Lauren Christian, and I’m from Allen, Texas. I’m a junior majoring in communication studies and minoring in public relations and strategic communication. This is my second semester at RaiderComm, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be a part of such an incredible agency! I’m the account executive for CoMC and an account coordinator for Habitat for Humanity. After graduation, I hope to begin my career at a well-respected public relations agency then transition to a private company as a leading PR representative. Kailey Dogins

Hi! I'm Kailey Dogins from Chicago, Illinois. I'm a junior majoring in digital media and professional communications with a certificate in sports media. I serve as the account executive for CoMC and an account coordinator for UREC. This semester, I'm excited to apply the skills gained in these roles to future career paths. This is my first semester in RaidrComm, and post-graduation, I plan to attend law school with a focus in contractual law and pursue a career as a sports agent. A fun fact about me is that I am self-taught in guitar. I excel in teamwork and am not hesitant to express my opinions.

Elene Khajishvili

Hi! My name is Elene Khajishvili, and I’m from Batumi, Georgia. I’m a sophomore majoring in public relations and strategic communication management. I am the account executive for Keep Lubbock Beautiful and an account coordinator for Habitat for Humanity. This is my first semester at RaiderComm, and I am very excited to be a part of the team and contribute my best efforts to it. My plans after graduation are to pursue further education in law. A fun fact about me is that I play the piano in my free time, and I have competed in tournaments overseas.

I am an account coordinator for Buffalo Grass Fest and the RaiderComm internal team. Vance Frazier

Hi! My name is Vance Frazier, and I'm from Tonasket, Washington. I'm a graduate student majoring in mass communications and media with a sports communications certificate. I am an account coordinator for CoMC and UREC. I am very excited about all the events that the RaiderComm agency and I will be covering hosted by UREC and CoMC this semester. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I am still trying to figure out my plans for after graduation. A fun fact about me is that I love to travel. I have been to two countries and visited 12 states.

Carolina Garcia

Hello! My name is Carolina Garcia, and I’m from Cotulla, Texas. I’m a junior majoring in public relations and strategic communications with an advertising minor. I am an account coordinator for CreateAthon and Tech Terrace. After I graduate, I hope to pursue my master’s degree in mass communications and then go on to work within the music industry. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I am excited to see what the semester has in store!

Joseph Gonzalez

Hello, I am Joseph Gonzalez from Laredo, Texas. I am a senior public relations and strategic communication major, minoring in creative media industries. I am an account coordinator for Keep Lubbock Beautiful and RaiderComm. This is my first semester in RaiderComm. I am excited to work with the clients and get real-world experience to prepare me for my career after graduation. After graduation, I want to find work in corporate PR in the San Antonio area. My goal is to work in the communications department at corporate Whataburger.

Kristin Harper

Hi! My name is Kristin Harper and I am from Denver, Colorado. I am a senior majoring in public relations and strategic communication management with a certificate in sports media. I am an account coordinator for both Texas Tech U.N.I.T and Keep Lubbock Beautiful. This is my first semester in RaiderComm. I am super excited about working with this amazing group of people and deepening my understanding of PR. A few of my strong suits are spreading positivity, resolving problems and having a strong work ethic.

Hi! My name is Sude Naz Keles, and I’m from Ankara, Turkey. I’m a graduate student in the mass communication program. I am an account coordinator for Buffalo Grass Fest and Tech Terrace. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I am excited to create as many new elements as possible and be useful to my teams! After graduating, I will pursue my PhD at the University of Texas in Austin. I am one of the 100th year graduates of Texas Tech and so proud to be a Red Raider!

Lindsey Neas

Hello! My name is Lindsey Neas, and I’m from Salado, Texas. I’m a senior studying public relations and strategic communication with a minor in advertising. I am an account coordinator for Keep Lubbock Beautiful and Tech Terrace. I am excited to intern with Visit Lubbock this semester alongside taking on my first college 8 a.m. In my free time, I enjoy seeing friends, trying new coffee or boba shops and tending to my plants. I am an account coordinator for Buffalo Grass Fest and Habitat for Humanity. Miranda Perlmutter

Hi! My name is Miranda Perlmutter and I’m from Lubbock, Texas. I’m a junior majoring in both public relations and strategic communication management and creative media industries. I’m an account coordinator for CreateAthon and Habitat for Humanity. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I’m very excited to begin talking to clients! Interaction with real-world clients is something I am looking forward to experiencing because it will be great preparation for my future work in public relations. After I graduate, I plan to move near Dallas to begin my career! I would like to work in crisis communications for Southwest Airlines or Marriot International. Later on, I plan to participate in communications research and become a professor at a university. I hope to do a lot of traveling and meet people from all around the world.
