Dr. Debbie Davis

Dr. Debbie Davis ABC, APR, Fellow PRSA, is an award-winning educator, communications practitioner and former TV news producer. To the classroom, she brings extensive experience in corporate communications for multiple Fortune 500 companies, including Eli Lilly and Anthem. She recently joined Texas Tech University as an assistant professor of practice where she primarily teaches in the online graduate program and advises the student-run agency, RaiderComm PR. Her research interests focus on student-run agencies and PR pedagogy.

Fiona Kelly,
AGENCY DIRECTOR

Hi! My name is Fiona Kelly, and I’m from Frisco, Texas. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Strategic Communication Management, and I am now pursuing my master’s degree in mass communications. I have the pleasure of serving as RaiderComm’s agency director this semester! I’m passionate about working with people and building connections, so I’m thrilled to spend another semester with this wonderful organization. I’m excited to watch myself grow as a leader and student! With a love for reading and writing, I also shamelessly indulge in reality TV in my spare time!

Hello, my name is Tresuremone “Treasure” Martinez, and I am from Austin, Texas. I’m a junior majoring in public relations and strategic communications and minoring in legal studies. I am the assistant agency director for RaiderComm and an account coordinator CASA of the South Plains and Bateman, and this is my second semester in RaiderComm. After graduation I plan on attending law school. A fun fact about me is that I love to puzzle!

Victoria Bacon,
ACCOUNT DIRECTOR (TA)

Hi! I'm Victoria Bacon, and I'm from Centreville, Maryland. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Strategic Communication Management with minors in advertising and media strategies in May 2023. I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in mass communications. I'm the account director for CreateAthon and Habitat for Humanity and serve as a teaching assistant for the agency and the undergraduate “Foundations of Media and Communications” course. I was in RaiderComm as an undergraduate for two semesters and have now been a TA for the class for three semesters as well. I'm so happy I can continue my journey within the agency.

Hey y’all! I’m Emily Chambers, and I’m from Lubbock, Texas. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media & Professional Communication with minors in media strategies, public relations, and political science from Texas Tech in May 2022. I am currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in mass communications and a M.B.A. I am the account director for LubbockCon and UREC and serve as a teaching assistant for the agency. When I was an undergraduate student, I had the opportunity to serve as an account manager for UREC, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with the agency again!

Hello! My name is Ashley Hendrix, and I am from El Paso, Texas. I am a junior majoring in public relations & strategic communication management with a minor in healthcare professions. I am the account manager for the Events Team and account coordinator for the Bateman team. This is my first semester with RaiderComm and I'm thrilled to be a part of an amazing group of individuals. I also conduct undergraduate research at the center for communication research office & work as the marketing materials assistant as well. I hope to pursue a master's degree in mass communications after I graduate next December.

Hi! My name is Natalie Amodio, and I’m from Cypress, Texas. I’m a senior and a public relations & strategic communication management major. I am the account manager for Keep Lubbock Beautiful and the account coordinator for Buffalo Grass Fest. This is my second semester in RaiderComm, and I am excited to tackle the role of account manager. I have skills in designing graphics, writing, communication and working well in team settings. After graduation, I plan to move back home and find a job working as a social media manager. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy playing pickleball.

Kailey Dogins,

Hi! My name is Kailey Dogins, and I’m from Chicago, Illinois. I'm a senior majoring in digital media and professional communications with a certificate in sports media and a minor in public relations. I serve as the account manager for CASA and an account coordinator for UREC. This semester, I'm excited to apply the skills gained in these roles to future career paths. This is my second semester in RaidrComm, and post-graduation, I plan to attend law school with a focus in contractual law and pursue a career as a sports agent. A fun fact about me is that I have over one thousand hours played on the Sims 4. I excel in teamwork and am not hesitant to express my opinions.

Hi! My name is Brandy Perry, and I’m from Waco, Texas. I’m a senior majoring in communications studies. This semester I’ll be serving as the account manager for LubbockCon and an account coordinator for Buffalo Grass Fest. This is my second semester in RaiderComm and I’m so excited to be back on the team! I enjoy working with people as much as I enjoy reading and writing and strive to work in the publishing industry after graduation.

Hi there! My name is Afton Allen, and I’m from Fort Worth, Texas. I’m a junior majoring in digital media & professional communication with a minor in public relations & strategic communication. I have the privilege of serving as the account manager for Buffalo Grass Fest and as an account coordinator for LubbockCon! It is my first semester with RaiderComm, and I'm so excited to have the opportunity to use what I learn in school to benefit the Lubbock community and enhance my professional communication skills. Something fun to know about me is that I love Thai food, anime, and being silly because laughter is free and good for the heart!

Hi! My name is Sam Zell, and I’m from Keller, Texas. I’m a junior pursuing a major in creative media industries with a public relations minor. I am the account manager for the Bateman competition and an account coordinator for Lubbock Con. This is my second semester in Raider Comm, and I’m very excited to work closely with my peers and meet the needs of our clients. A little bit about me is that I love music and funny pictures of bears. My strongest skills include content writing and communication.

Ryan Borgmann

Hi everyone! My name is Ryan Borgmann, and I was born and raised in McKinney, Texas. I’m a junior majoring in public relations & strategic communication management, alongside a minor in sociology. I am an account coordinator for RaiderComm Internal and our Events Team. I’m looking forward to this semester in this wonderful agency and the opportunities I’ll have to prove myself. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and after graduation I plan to work directly for a PR agency and start building my career and portfolio. A fun fact about me is that I’ve played violin for 10 years!

Bridget Maglo

Hello! I am Bridget Maglo, from Ghana. I'm pursuing my master’s in mass communications and it’s my first time being a part of RaiderComm. I am an account coordinator for Keep Lubbock Beautiful and the Internal Account teams. I love photography and videography, especially conceptual photography, food, and beautiful scenery. I also love to cook any chance I get. I look forward to learning from everybody in the agency and sharing memorable moments while working hard to reach our team goals. I’m so glad to be a part of this experience!

Hello! My name is Erin Castillo, and I’m from Fort Worth, Texas. I’m a sophomore majoring in public relations & strategic communication. I am an account coordinator for the Event and UREC teams. Although this is my first semester in RaiderComm, I am thrilled to work in an agency with such amazing clients and peers. One fun fact about me is that I am a house DJ.

Christina Dominique

Hi! My name is Christina Domingue and I'm from Frisco, Texas. I am a Junior at Texas Tech University pursuing a bachelor's degree in digital media and professional communication along with minors in advertising and public relations. This is my first semester in RaiderComm where I will be an account coordinator for Buffalo Grass Fest and Keep Lubbock Beautiful. With an interest in the intersection of technology and effective communication strategies, I am committed to honing my skills in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing. I am so excited to be a part of this agency and to gain knowledge and experience!

Hi! My name is Brighid Kilbride, and I am from Bryan/College Station, Texas. I am a senior and majoring in public relations and strategic communications with a minor in creative media industries. I am an account coordinator for CASA of the South Plains and UREC. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I am looking to work in public relations for nonprofits after graduation.

Michael Harris

Hi! My name is Micheal Harris, and I am from Dallas, Texas. I'm a sophomore majoring in public relations and strategic communication management with a sports media certification. This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I am excited to work as an account coordinator for both the LubbockCon & UREC team. I am excited to learn from my peers and industry professionals and participate in agency projects and events while expanding my knowledge and skills in this field. Eventually, I plan to become a Social Media Manager for a sports organization where I can apply the skills I’ve acquired from RaiderComm.

Hi! My name is Ella Vickers. I’m from Georgetown, Texas, a junior majoring in public relations with a minor in communication studies. I am an account coordinator for CASA and Bateman. I’m excited to develop meaningful relationships and build my knowledge of the workplace. This is my first semester in RaiderComm. Hi! My name is Elise Popowski, and I’m from Savoy, Texas. I’m a senior majoring in public relations and strategic communications management. I am an account coordinator for the Events team and the Internal RaiderComm team. For my first semester in RadierComm, I am excited to gain new experiences that will push me toward my career goals. Paulina Puga

Hi! My name is Paulina Puga, and I’m from Austin, Texas. I’m a senior majoring in public relations and strategic communications management and minoring in advertising. I am an account coordinator for Buffalo Grass Fest and Keep Lubbock Beautiful. As an avid concertgoer and music lover with a deep passion for the environment, I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with these amazing accounts! This is my first semester in RaiderComm, and I look forward to bringing my PR background and love for graphic design to these roles and working with my talented teams. After graduation, I strive to continue working in the PR field.

Hi! My name is Grace McKeown, and I’m from Denton, Texas. I am a Senior majoring in communications studies with a minor in legal studies. I am an account coordinator for CASA and the Raider Comm Internal Team. This will be my first year with RaiderComm! I am excited to gain real world insight and connect with new people. After graduation I plan to attend the Texas Tech School of Law.

Hi! My name is Sam Jasso, and I’m from Ropesville, Texas. I am a senior majoring in public relations and strategic communications with a double minor in sports management and creative media industries. I am an account coordinator for the UREC and Events team. This is my first semester in RaiderComm and I am so excited to work with these clients to fulfill their goals and needs.
