It’s now officially senior year! These past 3 years at Texas Tech University have been amazing and I have learned so much and met so many amazing people. The Public Relations department has been so helpful over the years everyone is so kind and caring and you can tell they really just want you to succeed. This semester, I really wanted to be in classes that not only interested me, but were beneficial in the long run. When I came across Raidercomm, I knew it was a perfect fit. One thing I love about this class is I will be working with clients and gaining real-world public relations experience. This past summer I worked at 4ORE golf as a server so I didn’t get any internship experience, this makes me super nervous to graduate and get a real job. That’s one of the main reasons I think this class will be so beneficial, it will give me a chance to get a feel of what it could be like for me once I graduate. I am also excited to get to know everyone in the class and grow relationships with them. My plan for right now is to be an Account Coordinator but I do plan to take the course again in the spring and hopefully run for Account Manager. I thought about running this semester but just wanted to get a feel for the class before I take on a larger role. Besides all of that, I am super excited about this semester.
