Being a Senior here at Texas Tech I get asked at least once a week from my peers, professors and strangers that I make conversation with along the way. “What are you going to do after college?” The short answer to the very famous question is ‘I still don’t know’.
That is my secret, I truly do not know yet, but that is exactly why I am here. I decided to take RaiderComm so kick start my passions. I know that I love to lead and communicate with people, so when I heard about this class I knew I couldn’t pass up this opportunity. I was a little nervous getting into this class because I haven’t had in prior experience to relate it to, but that is what made it so intriguing so I had to be a part of it.
That is my message to anyone who may be in a similar situation that I have found myself in. I am uncertain of what is next in my life so I decided to take a risk and take a class with a big responsibility, a class that will teach me things necessary for the real working world. It will be hard to find your passion if you are not willing to step out of your comfort zone every now and again. Always know your never too old or late to figure out just exactly what it is you want to do with your life.
